How Much Does Furniture Reupolstery Cost?

This is an upholstery guide for some typical upholstered furniture.  Re-upholstery prices contain two elements: the labour portion and the fabric required.  Please note that the fabric is not included in the price.  Fabrics vary in price and fabric selection is specific to each person's taste and budget.

Upholstery prices are affected by some additional details:

  • Styles such as buttons, tufting, channels
  • The quality of the existing padding, springing and frame structure
  • Cushion replacement with Foam, feathers or dacron
  • Finish Treatments such as decorative nails, double pipe, or fringes
  • Wood refinishing or touch up
  • Antique restoration
